Why Climate Action
Climate change is one of the most pressing global challenges of our time. Rising temperatures, unpredictable weather patterns, deforestation, and increasing plastic pollution are all contributing to serious environmental damage. A major yet often overlooked cause of this problem is single-use plastic, especially plastic plates and disposable tableware that take hundreds of years to decompose.
What We Do
By encouraging the use of eco-friendly leaf plates, we aim to reduce plastic waste and environmental pollution, lower carbon footprint and greenhouse gas emissions, promote sustainable livelihoods through leaf plate making projects, support circular economy and zero-waste practices, and raise awareness about climate change and responsible consumption.
Eco-Friendly Leaf Plates
Leaf plates, made from naturally fallen leaves such as areca or sal leaves, are 100% biodegradable, compostable, and plastic-free.
Reducing Plastic Waste
Offering a sustainable alternative to single-use plastics to prevent landfill accumulation and reduce pollution.
Sustainable Livelihoods
Creating green jobs for rural women through the production of biodegradable leaf plates.
